Sound
Barrier Material
Keldax® is
a filled, thermoplastic ethlene polymer designed to provide economical,
effective sound barrier components for automotive and industrial
applications. Keldax®
can be accurately and permenently formed into complex shapes which
are easy to handle and quick to install. As a result, parts made
of Keldax®
not only control sound, they provide a precise fir and take up
less space and weight than other sound barrier matrials. Keldax®
combines its excellent formability with the flixibility nessesary
for optimum sound barrier performance. Other applications include
sound damping in automotive door panels, to sheild passengers
from water splash noise, and sandwiched architectural panels,
where sound deadening contributes to perceived higher quality
performance.
Keldax®
is extremly durable. This is because Keldax® resists embrittlement,
which means longer life components.
